Workshops

The core of our ukulele festival is learning opportunities with talented instructors. While there are other fun activities such as open mics, jam sessions, a ukulele swap meet and marketplace, and our traditional Gospel According to Uke with Gorton Smith, we know you’re really excited about what you can learn while you’re here. Below is our schedule for the 2026 Las Cruces UkeFest, using color-coded dots to identify the workshop difficulty (green is beginner, yellow is intermediate, and red is advanced). Find descriptions of each workshop on the Classes page.

Workshop Materials

Registered full festival attendees will be emailed a link to a Google Drive folder containing the workshop materials about a month before the festival. We ask participants to download and print them to bring along. It saves our little nonprofit hundreds of dollars in printing costs, so we appreciate your help!
